about the kfz. 305 opel
The Kraftfahrzeug 305 (abbreviated Kfz. 305) was a box-type vehicle designed for a wide variety of tasks and used by Germany during World War II. One of these tasks was acting as an ambulance for the troops, for example with the 2nd Panzer Division in Normandy.

regarding the build
It was a nice diversion to build a truck. An ambulance in a war time scenario is in my opinion a very interesting scale model subject. It was one of the first projects were I tried to give the iconic three colour camouflage scheme to a model. I also scratch-built the mirrors on the side of the vehicle and placed a piece of transparant plastic to function as the windows, even the wipers were made by myself. The kit itself is affordable and gives a nice impression of this Opel Kfz. 305.
I’ve sold this model in 2024.
