British crew members of the 2nd Household Cavalry take a rest outside of their DAC MK I. They have parked close to the field of a shepherd. Meanwhile infantrymen march towards the shepherd and his loyal dog to have a little chat. A cheeky sheep tries to explore a little bit outside his enclosure. The time of liberation has come…

regarding the build

A fantastic kit from IBG models and a very interesting vehicle to boot. It is a challenge though, with a lot of well detailed parts, including photo etched elements. To keep the interior visible I decided to open the top hatch. I would recommend this kit for the experienced modeler.

The fact that this diorama displays a scene in my home country The Netherlands, makes this project pretty unique. It’s the only diorama so far that I’ve made which contains animals, the sheep give a peaceful vibe along with the shephard and his dog. The fence with gate was made by using some Plastic Card strips.

I’ve sold this diorama in 2026.
